It's local. That's the point.
The price isn't just hardware — it's where your data sits.
Nothing leaves the building
Nothing you type or record ever leaves the building. There's no cloud account behind it, no analytics, no crash reporting — the machine has no one to phone home to. That also settles the quiet questions: nothing here is training anyone's model or reaching a data broker.
Private, structurally
Each person's files and chats are invisible to everyone else's — and a private meeting or file can't be read by anyone, administrators included.
Yours to walk away with
Meetings, chats and documents are plain folders on a disk you own. If you ever stop working with us, you keep everything — readable without our software.
No meter running
No usage bills, no plan tiers. A busy month costs the same as a quiet one: nothing.
Weighing it against cloud subscriptions? The honest three-year maths is here — including when cloud wins.
Five years, five people.
A Claude or OpenAI business subscription against a machine you own.
An office of five on a typical business AI subscription pays around $2,700 every year — about $13,500 over five years, and still counting.
Ours is a flat cost and a ~$300 yearly service — on a machine you own outright.
Subscription figure assumes ~$45 per person per month, the going rate for Claude and OpenAI business seats in Australia.
Questions about the money.
Are there per-user fees?
No. Once the machine is in, every person in the office can use it as much as they like at no additional cost. Adding staff costs nothing.
Is the yearly service compulsory?
No. The machine keeps working without it. The ~$300 yearly visit covers a health check across every service, model upgrades as better ones are released, and rollbacks on request — most clients keep it because it's cheap insurance.
What happens if hardware prices move?
Quotes are valid for 7 days — memory prices have been volatile through 2025 and 2026. Once you accept, the number is fixed and honoured, even if our cost moves.
Can we start small and grow?
Yes. Plenty of offices start with The Office and move up when the team grows. We'll credit the trade-in value of the original machine against the new one — or we can chain a new device alongside your current one to boost performance and handle more capacity.
